Educating electrical consumers regarding the paradigm shift from what might be called "a lose-lose waste unconsciousness" to what Amory Lovins and the Rocky Mountain Institute calls "elegant frugality" requires positive messages of understanding and cooperation. Centripetus is preparing a series of educational products to advance this shift. Our first piece, "Just Right" (available here),  offers insight into the production and consumption of electricity. The story introduces the smart grid, the issues of peak vs off-peak consumption, and personal responsibility regarding efficiency and conservation.
